I don't think 40 has a chance, tho it's my best band. Ive got a 30m EFHW that I'm gonna convert to give me 20/30/40 portable (and 15, but I don't have the radio) and that might be my best chance. Have to be right place right time

Your sunset? Or mine? I could probably get the distance. But northwesterly is my worst direction, period. And CW seems even less good. Northeast is my strongest.

No, not even on FT8. Geography seems to interfere. I'd love to try, and I'd even go portable to try to find a better spot if I could get the time to work.

Good grief. Thanks for the warning. To some extent it worries me how visible our personal information is as hams, especially on QRZ. It's a fairly important part of the hobby, but dangerous sometimes.

I'm improving but five letters is a whole lot different than a QSO :)

Truth, tho mistakes in my job often do cost pretty big sums of money, lol.

I fully believe that being willing to fail is a good thing. I think the biggest difficulty is that much of the time it's about job situations where failure brings a lot of displeasure from management.

I lost some of my mojo for CW tonight. I think I'm "determined" still, but the radio was dead and hard to make contacts on.That was discouraging.

FT8 on 40m is sending out a ton of signals, but I'm not getting many contacts. Obviously the band is weird even for the computers....

You do that too? I've gotten so overwhelmed with useless emails that I've sorta stopped and started using Keep for this purpose.

I'm less prone to repeater chats these days... CW on HF seems to have my attention.

Communications are difficult to say the least.

Are you in actually in AK now? I have only rarely even gotten an FT8 signal in up there. My rig just won't reach. I'd love to work u and get AK.

Hey man! I've been forgetting to check this site, so sorry. I did not get the VK (had to check the log to make sure...) Yes, I hope to get in the log very soon. I like that SKCC Sked page. I'm 29968. No special letters for me by a long shot. And I'm still terrible :) But not ashamed.
