How to describe The Prisoner? It’s like if Kafka wrote a James Bond series, in the 1960s.

Rewatching The Prisoner, which I last saw in the 1900s. If they made it today it would have slicker special effects and more naturalistic acting, completely ruining it.

ngl, I kind of want to live in a non-dystopian version of The Village.

Abstract image featuring gray rectangles that might represent a school, a yellow structure that could be a jungle gym, and a green circle with a few line segments in it that could be a ball. The sky behind it all is in shades of tan with some white feathering. On the right side in the sky is a squashed oval filled with an orange radial gradient. At the very top left corner of the picture is a tiny sky blue triangle.

Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

(We didn’t have him tested, that was someone in his previous chain of custody.)

Pretend we have a functioning government. What is one thing you would want the government to do that would make your life better?

For me, it would be to raise the minimum wage. That doesn’t directly affect my pay, but it would improve the economic life of my community, improving my life.
