I was going to get my booster with my flu shot like I do every October, when the new vaccines usually have dropped. Given the news, I just tried to book a COVID vaccine (3 people in my office have had COVID within the last month), and the shot is no longer available.

Procedurally, how has the right to appeal not been exhausted yet? It sounded like she was appealing damages awards against her, but if the plaintiffs waive their right to damages, then isn’t her appeal moot, thereby removing the case or controversy requirement?

Totally think someone on Trump’s team should study Neville Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement, including the Munich Agreement, with Nazi Germany and see how that worked out. Maybe not repeat history 🤷🏻‍♀️

Conservative DEI is not a meritocracy. It precludes entire groups of people from even being considered based on a number of isms. The only requirement is kowtowing to the leader. You don’t even have to have skills to do the job. Whereas the DEI we had actually is essential to a meritocracy.

The harm was never holding a hearing on Merrick Garland. Also, holding open judicial vacancies during an Obama administration then cramming them through in the next administration. I seem to recall some judicial nominees not even knowing what the Daubert rule was, as revealed at hearings.

And if Democrats ever get control again, expanding the Supreme Court and packing the lower courts should also be on that list. The harm McConnell has done to the judiciary (and money in politics and all the issues it has wrought) should be his legacy.
