Today I visited the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory and saw blooming lady slippers, which is our state flower and also a type of orchid (TIL). First time I've ever seen one! They do look like slippers!

I go to the NE one a lot! They have a really nice assortment of succulents! And really pretty ceramic plant pots too.

Senate update: Republicans are now trying to sneak a backdoor national abortion ban into their government funding bill. Republicans will stop at nothing to control women's health care decisions.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.

I just got back from a walk. While I was walking through the park, a little white boy and his father flagged me down from the very other end of the park. Now to be fair, I have on my hat on, so I’m easy to spot lol. The little boy drew me this. A month ago. He has been waiting to see me again.
