Honestly they just need to fuck off. While it isn't a vote winner Labour should basically use their big majority to have a bit of a day of reckoning with the papers and BBC news and hierarchy. Instead you have Nandy nodding away to the unfounded concerns of pensioners in Wigan.

If he asks - I bet you can't fit into this large suitcase for thirty quid? Then make your excuses and leave.

It's annoying but there are very mundane reasons for them still being on it like all the main social media listening and sentiment tools have only just introduced apis for Blue Sky so they can monitor. They also want 'reach' quantity (inc. bots) looks good, they don't care about quality

It's the same people who rolled the dice with Brexit and then got angry when they had to queue at customs or couldn't buy a studio apartment in Benidorm. And it's the same fucking bloke telling them to do it again! Absolute hard of thinking.

From a Brit looking in. Harsh to say this but the misogyny in the US means a lot of grown men put ridiculous reverence to the title 'Commander-in-Chief' being a man and can't cope with a female one means the Dems will run with the white bloke this time.

He needs to move further and faster to ensure it will be politically/economically damaging and vastly going against public opinion to reverse any of these integrations before the next GE.

State funding would be the ideal solution but it would be a hard sell to the UK population as our current right wing media ecosystem will try their utmost to torpedo it. Heck, they'll do the same with PR if it becomes viable.

I have said this in previous posts. The only reason Labour hasn't gone for it is because Labour as an actual 'organisation' can only exist or be viable under FPTP. Labour would split under a proportional system and the unions would have a choice on who to fund.

Surely there's a whole dossier of Russia stuff that's been banked on Farage and they are just waiting to pull the trigger at an appropriate time. I can't see him being PM either by the fact that there's no money in it for at least 5 years.

The Times used to be the least mental of the right wing broadsheets. Been awful for the last 3 years especially now they pay the unhinged Melanie Phillips for her opinions.

Trying to think would a leadership bid from him even be remotely viable? The membership hates him and would never get past them if they were allowed a vote on a new leader plus he will definitely lose his seat at the next GE.

Barclays has a long track record of morally and ethically bankrupt CEO's from your Bob Diamond's with Libor and now Jess Staley. Horrible internal culture when I was there in 00s. Got to protect the family firm. We have huge deference in this country for QE2, but her husband and her favourite son were both colossal c#nts - makes you think that either she was at best a terrible judge of character or pretty terrible herself.

Yep, but The Tories still own the press so they will get easy ride. Also their supporters agree with what they are doing where Labour are incapable of pleasing their own side never mind their own side.

Agree with all this. But whenever they have done something positive they have also done something petty, cruel or down right stupid in tandem so that it is that red meat the media always go for.

We also have to remember that Lee Anderson and his ilk were Morgan McSweeney's 'Hero' voter and were desperate to bring these reform prodigal sons back to the fold.

I just don't think he has the mental agility and bravery to change it round. There's also something deeply old fashioned about him despite not being that old. He feels like an Analogue Prime Minister in a Digital age.

Surely there is a good case for a class action for breach of contract/miss selling with regards to these loans. These loans should have always been interest fee with maybe a small annual admin fee for processing and never a money making excercise.

They don't really care as they continue to get paid handsomely for columns rarely does massive hypocrisy or being constantly wrong about pretty much everything they publish mean they never get held to account or ever in danger of losing said column

He was actually doing some good things in the first couple of weeks when Sue Grey was there like getting Timpson into to look at justice and rehabilitation. The errors of judgement, reform pandering and owning and upsetting the left for absolutely zero gain definitely upped when she was ousted.

Hi Neil, The whole Labour party is a pretty rotten organisation still stuck in the 20th century and will always be a vehicle for your McSweeney's and his lads. The best thing it can do is introduce PR and then split into two or three parties.

I am honestly starting to believe McSweeney thinks he can get rid of Starmer and keep himself and his team in place to pick the next Labour leader/PM to keep their faction in place and also owning the left dream alive.
