Can’t tell if the show Firefly has lost it’s luster for me the more I enjoy other space westerns, if it’s the show showing it’s age, or just watching a Josh Whedon show staring the guy who coined the term Gamergate ruining some of the vibes.

Unfortunately I think you’re pretty much just stuck doing 3-5 card Dramatic Reversal, Turnabout, High Tide/Other Ritual piles

Is there a reason you want Rootha to be part of the combo? UR has no shortage of combos in Artisan.

I use to think this way, as Rofellos is weaker then Kinnan or Selvala as a commander. But Rofellos in 99 of decks is large net negative for the format, and this is coming from someone who owns the card.

Just don’t built it as storm and double up on the cute otters then?

Nothing is forcing this deck into storm if that makes people check out.

I wouldn’t let one game where people were not feeling Izzet Clones/Copies stop you from enjoying a deck. Those games are bound to happen with such a variable format.

Also I disagree with Farewell, it’s fine for a 6 mana boardwipe to actually be good at wiping the board by getting around Heroic Interventions, GY Recursion, and decks that spit of non-creature permanents.

It’s funny to me how much hype this commander b&r got for such a small change.

If the Aristocrats player is winning by smacking me for 10 infect damage instead of draining the table once they have 2+ aristocrats out I’d consider that a much more interesting line.

Two more candidates for cards that I’ve faced several times that frankly I’d prefer a Smokestacks over.

They may be situational but those color hate clauses are brutal while still being good against decks when it’s not relevant.

Some sickos are making it $20 and I hope to god it never sees a reprint.

I mean. Even if you can spit out the tokens it’s incredibly slow.

It takes 4 turns for it become something really mean IMO. That’s T7-8 at least most games.

Now if we want to talk cards that make me scoop almost immediately, I’ve never not had a miserable game with Noetic Scales.

Also this is the first new candidate for Old Border Rith in years btw.

Ngl, the immediate hate for Smokestacks surprises me.

Of all the cards to find oppressive, the one that takes 2 turns to become an edict, 3 turns to become two edicts, is pretty slow and telegraphed. Esp. when decks these days are constantly spitting out tokens and wide boards.

I'd lost count over the number of times I'd lost the game to Dockside or Mana Crypt pouring gas on any deck they were in, and Jeweled Lotus just made for very feast or famine gameplay.

I am once again asking for Francisco to be printed at uncommon, given that all the other pirate partners are printed at uncommon and he's frankly weaker then them.

Celeborn not being Simic for better scry cards makes me very sad, as he’s the most fun card in the 99 of my Simic Arwen Scry/+1/+1 Counters deck

If he was Simic I’d 100% be maining him as a commander

It does, yeah.

It’s helpful when commander tax stacks up or expect a boardwipe, but usually the play was you adventure him on T2, cast him T3, and ignore the adventure text for the rest of the game.
