My artisan deck for her punches pretty good, ngl. She’s the sort of commander that plays a lot of draft chaft already.

That said the rare initiative payoffs are very fun!

Yeah, that 1 generic mana is just sort of a backbreaker for what she is.

Like if she was smaller but with flying, or just 3 mana?? Much more approachable card in the Command Zone.

My life improved by a small but noticeable amount when I found out you can eat shrimps with the tails on.

I’ve done her as PDH combo, Artisan Combo, and Pridemates. (And faced her as a zombies deck and control deck)

Maaaybe as a crime deck she can thrive? But the esper crime payoffs aren’t great.

My conclusions for Queza have been:

- overcosted for the effect
- just lousy to recast after removal
- body doesn’t matter
- too central to her own strats
- only hitting one opponent per draw is more annoying then good

Uncommon Esper Nekusar has been one of the few commanders I’ve built in paper several times in several different ways and dismantled due to lousy gameplay experiences.

Hot take but I prefer EDH and Brawl over drafting.

I love having my little borbo each game and the deck building and discovery process.

Alternatively my mom is back in town and that’s always a whole can of worms I’m still unpacking.
