Antisemitic violence is always political. The politics is they want Jews dead. The only difference between the two people murdered last night and the rest of the Jews is circumstances.

In Canada, our civil service works for the Crown, not politicians.
In Canada, the PM isn't supreme. Someone else, a man who's devoted his life to service, is supreme.

As a Canadian, I love the Monarchy.
Not anyone involved in it - I don't have any personal experiences with QEII or KCIII @royalfamily.bsky.social , but the Crown as an institution that protects Canadian democratic institutions and norms from totalitarianism.
