The political reality of beings fucking sucks. Actually being trans is literally the best, is fucking awesome - and I feel so much joy in the fact that I know myself and who I am, as well as the fact that it has given me the best, kindest community and found family I could have ever asked for.

It’s also important to note that telling the internet you are going to protests is like putting a target on your back. And peaceful protests accomplish nothing anymore because our government doesn’t listen. Voting doesn’t even matter when a majority of the country has been successfully brainwashed.

The reason why Natives aren’t at the Grammys is the same reason why Natives aren’t in other media. Gatekeeping and exclusion. In America the only acceptable Native is one who is regulated to the past. And while film opens the door a crack to do period pieces. Mainstream music doesn’t.

It certainly is an experience

Five 3D printed tiny shops being attacked and sunk. Framing is picture frames, clouds are cotton. Islands are Woodland Scenics rocks, ocean is textured art paper airbrushed and hand painted.

The prop is motorized and wired back to a battery pack behind the cloud frame. Plane was greebled with Zaku machine guns under the wings and a Gundam beam rifle sight. I forget what paints I used but the roundels were painted while the emblems are 3rd party water slides.

Figure's legs were removed so it would fit into the cockpit. A piece of white fabric was wrapped around the figures neck simulating a scarf which blows nicely when the props are spinning.

Weathering was pastels. Plane affixed to dio through clouds using an Evergreen square tube.

Another older project, part of a "birth year buildoff". Gundam didn't exist when I was born in 1965 and finding a model was rough but mission accomplished: a Hawk P-47D Thunderbolt, combined with a Gundam Converge Zaku II. "Der Roten Kometen" dio retelling the Battle of Loum. Fun project all around!

New tool, a hot wire foam cutter. Picked up cheap on Alieexpress. Shipped from a US company and arrived in a couple days. Assembled very easily. Tested briefly, badly melted the first piece of foam then dialed down the voltage to where i got a clean cut. Look forward to using on an upcoming base.
