I frankly am okay with this, but I struggle with things like taking the blackface scene out of Holiday Inn. If you just delete it, aren’t you just pretending it didn’t happen, instead of acknowledging that there was a time when Hollywood thought that was okay?

Christie wasn’t around to approve or disapprove, but you can change those things without changing anything meaningful about the story.

I was mostly referring to something like changing the original title of Agatha Christie’s book Ten Little Indians (or it’s even more egregious original title) to And Then There Were None, and changing the internal nursery rhyme.

But also WTF is happening in this movie right now? I stepped away for a second and suddenly EVERYTHING IS BLOWING UP AND THERE’S A CROCODILE ON FIRE. #TheLastDriveIn
