I've finally narrowed it down to 20 images. I think 5 of them are in my top 20 pictures I've ever taken.

I took 1300 photos of whales and Orca on my SLR. In the Azores I was just happy to get a shot but in Norway we had so much more time with the animals and it was just us. Meant I got to go all arty with my photos.

I'm having eggs and bacon on a yacht anchored in an arctic fjord in Norway. I wish this could stay my new normal.

I used to be a data analyst for Supply Chain before I became a SC Manager. In my last job I worked with a data god and compared to him, my data stuff looked shit. Now I'm at a new company trying to explain data theory to my staff and actually I am amazing at this shit, I just got lazy.

Packing for the Arctic is hard because so many layers are required. Usually I just need a backpack and my camera. Currently I'm wrestling with a fat cabin bag that needs to fit my tripod but weigh less than 8kg! Love my new jacket though!

What are you supposed to say when someone asks your hobbies. Like, I've got hobbies coming out of my ears. I have shelf upon shelf of abandoned hobbies too. What's an acceptable reply?

For example. They knew the pressure of the atmosphere would get stronger the further they went into the planet, but didn't realise air could crush you. Really? And also the denser the air became the slower sound travelled? How did they reach that conclusion?!

It's my LAST day of unemployment. Starting a new place tomorrow after almost 2 months off (one that aligns with my values too!). I actually can't wait, but also I'm nervous. Capitalism is evil but also you don't realise how much of your job is your personality till you don't have it anymore.

Found my first when I was 26. Last time I saw my natural hair colour, my sideburns and temples were getting a little bit white. Now it seems my temples are almost completely white and the salt and pepper extends to my crown. Might need a brown dye!

Probably a shift in the way the industry works. Bands would sign record deals with set numbers of albums and have to have albums out around a deadline to stay on contract. Now days things are more single oriented. Also major labels are less involved with punk bands and have less money in general.

T minus 40 mins till my second interview and I just talked to my recruiter. The person I'm going to be talking to got the job 2 months ago via my recruiter. So I guess it's going to be more of a chat than an interview? That's good because I have no idea what questions to ask this time!
