So when I got done seething about that, I came to a decision.

I like writing for you all, but for quality and not volume. I like releasing a book when I'm excited for it, not to hit arbitrary release windows. I want to treat you well to an adventure I want to be on with you. (5/?)

He takes the lion's share of off every sale. 70% of a dollar leaves me with just $0.34. For an entire book, I'd make a little over a quarter. Meanwhile, the executives at META have pirated my books to feed into an AI, while arguing in court that the books have 'no real appreciable value.' (4/?)

Bezos and the Zon takes 70% of every book 1 sale I make. And he's created a race to the bottom for young indies, as we all try to undercut each other in a bid to sell more volume and not higher quality to the limited readers there are. (3/?)

So here's me announcing an egregious business sin: I'm raising the prices on my books, arbitrarily, on all of them. (2/?)

So my books and many others have no appreciable value to Zuckerberg and his stealing something worthless isn't a crime.
