Oh also just explaining what AI is and why it’s fundamentally flawed (it’s a word generator that puts words together based on averages of what it has found on the internet - including sources that are often unreliable, wrong and/or poor quality)

If that doesn’t work, if you like them tell them they’re better at doing stuff than they think and their brain is way better than a word generator. If you don’t like them tell them they’re clearly a moron if they can’t do a better job than AI.

My tactic generally is to say that in my experience the output is low quality and unreliable. Give a few examples - there are plenty online (meaningless word salad, factual errors etc) and point out that to get its output to a usable state would be more work than just doing it yourself.

Bar optics are not a thing in Canada. One of the ways I know this is the extremely painful video I just watched of a Canadian on holiday in Jamaica trying (mostly unsuccessfully) to put some rum in a mug by putting the mug underneath and pushing the optics with his hand.

Yeah I always push it and the most I’ve got out of people is ‘people abusing the work permit system’ and when I explain how to get a work permit or permanent residency they often are surprised at how hard it is 🫠

Haha both of those hops are exactly the two I would first cite as good hops! I love bramling cross, especially in a dark beer.

There are good English hops but yeah fuggles is really not one of them.
