Six days after the first bribery charge

Yorkshire marmite: likely to elicit strong reactions. Currently politically homeless but left of centre. Love to visit different places.

But itβs a lovely biggly figureβ¦

10.10.2025 23:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We all need to start speaking out and questioning his policies and motives. They will not stand up to scrutiny.

'Stunned?' Farage's Admission He Knew Nathan Gill but Not His Pro-Russian Sympathies Does Not Stand Up to Scrutiny
Insiders have told @bylinetimes.bsky.social it is βinconceivableβ the Reform Leader did not know about Gillβs pro-Russian statements

Things have changed. In 1970, the average stay after a hip replacement was 14 days. Now itβs only 1-3 days. After giving birth, instead of 6 or 7 days in a bed, most women are discharged the same day. Significantly less beds days are needed per stay.
10.10.2025 22:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I called this out on #BBCQT last night and I'm calling it out again now.
He is gaslighting a nation.
The picture of Farage with the T shirt from Gillβs briberβs wife, taken the day Gill appears her Pro Russian TV channel, is taken in Gillβs office
10.10.2025 17:06 β π 235 π 164 π¬ 8 π 2Farage continues to subscribe to the βtell the lies loud enough and often enough so people believe itβ school of politicsβ¦
10.10.2025 19:27 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0I read it. England 1970 48.9 million. Up 10mil to 58.8m now. Less beds. Ending bed blocking may still be a better solution than simply adding extra unstaffed beds. Inadequate social care is an issue neglected by many successive governments.
10.10.2025 19:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In January 2025 alone, nearly three in five (58.5%) of patients well enough to be discharged remained in acute hospitals at the end of the day. This has a knock on effect on the whole system & caused the loss of 1.6 million βbed daysβ in January alone.
10.10.2025 18:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Possibly. Many procedures no longer require extended hospital stays, thus reducing the number of bed nights needed. Day surgery/treatment negates the need for a bed altogether. Extra needs would require extra staff which currently donβt exist.
10.10.2025 18:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Yep, profit that could otherwise have been invested in public services and infrastructureπ’
10.10.2025 18:44 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Cutting beds would be fine if they had ensured seamless social care to avoid bed blocking.
10.10.2025 18:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0He personifies the βbe the change you want to seeβ approach. Other politicians need to take lessons from him.
10.10.2025 18:39 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok, Gill admitted he took Russian bribes for his pro Russian statements. Farage made same pro Russian statements that stinks.

The right to peaceful enjoyment of possessions - some people need to realise that means your own, legally acquired/paid for possessions!
10.10.2025 18:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Because theyβre not really journalists? Too much like hard work and/or their publications are cost cutting? Either way, too much reliance in simply regurgitating things without fact checking.
10.10.2025 17:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What on here worries our toxic politicians so much?

Another tactic straight from the MAGA playbook so loved by REFUK. They can $od right off.

10.10.2025 16:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As if teachers in England donβt have to put up with enough criticism of their performance and most of that comes from within the system. No wonder there is a retention crisisπ€¦π»ββοΈ
10.10.2025 16:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Perhaps itβs time to remind the voters that not all MPs are making millions out of the job despite what they might believe.
