I find it extremely concerning that the President of the United States directed the DOJ to investigate two people who have corrected him or resisted his policies. I’m not surprised though because Trump has explicitly said he wishes he could be more involved in the affairs of the DOJ and FBI

The US Marshal services enforce court orders if someone is in contempt of the courts. However, the U.S. Marshal services fall under the DOJ, and that’s under the executive branch. We don’t know what would happen if the president ordered the Marshals to not enforce a court order
