Full moon boxes are now available in the shop (link in bio). For yarn - choice between Emma sock and Downie DK, spinning fibre choice between 100% BFL or Targhee. Also an option for extra skein or braid with purchase of box. These will shipped/be ready for pickup following March 14 full moon!

Let’s cast some magic this year. 2 full moon boxes and a Summer and Winter Solstice box. Solstice boxes will have three skeins or braids and ritual items. Full moon boxes will have 1 skein and ritual items. First Full Moon Box for March hits the website tomorrow morning!!

Alberta parents with kids K-12 if you get a call from a 1-866 number it could be a survey survey from the gov’t about our education system. It takes 20 min but there is space at the end for add’tl commentary and I had A LOT to say.

If anything you have read from me suggests that I am letting men off the hook, you are laughably mistaken. And if me acknowledging the problem with specifically white women is “attacking” then you should examine your own fragility and privilege. Do some unlearning. I am done engaging.

I am not American either. I am a white woman. I understand how I am complicit in white supremacy. White women will elect Pierre Polievre. This is not a problem that is unique to the US. To think otherwise is naive.

So you know “not all men”. You literally just “not all white women”ed. If all men need to take responsibility then white women need to do the same. We are all complicit.

No one has ever said that just white women voted. You are missing the point. White women will always side with white supremacy. They continue to elect officials that take away their rights and impact their lives and then whine about it. When they were told this would happen and did it anyway.

Not sure what your point is. Mine is that white women are the problem. Now that the things they voted for are impacting them, they care. Without white women’s votes Trump would not have been elected. White supremacy will always hold more power than misogyny.

As I said in my last post things are bad right now but I got to cuddle a sloth and give a hat to my favorite artist, Meaghan Farrell with yarn I dyed inspired by her song. These moments of joy I am holding onto super tight right now.

Things are really bad right now. It will likely get worse. White women elected him. White women will elect Pierre Polievre. White women elected Danielle Smith. White women are and always have been the problem. Maybe now they’ll finally realize it? They fucked around and now they’re finding out.

My mom found these swatches knit by her mom in an old notebook. I never knew my grandma she passed away at 30 and left 5 kids under 10. But now I have these connection with her that feels magical. My mom had no idea her mom even knit. Wool does connect us while the dumpster fires burn around us 🧶
