I personally consider the boycott a success because it was a baby practice action for people who have never done that before. People got on board! They got to feel what it was like! It was easy! And when they get asked to do something next, they’ll have an experience to build off of.

Trump sows chaos in federal workforce then says “resign within a week and I’ll give you 7 months severance.” Don’t fall for it!  Trump told innumerable contractors he’d pay—then stiffed them. He has no authority to promise severance pay. Wait him out!

Increasingly worried about free press dying not through the government but through capitulation, cowardice, and wealth/power hoarding as the only guiding principle. He wont even have to actually do anything and will still get an unofficial state run media, I guess?

Lately i've been thinking about how many of the processes traditional media has used to build trust (an editorial bureaucracy, lots of editing, making work more concise, and hiding a lot of that work & presenting a polished finished product) now read to audiences as inauthentic & less trustworthy
