Just released this old fishing game I managed to find on my old Noki Noki phone. It's simple but it's fun arcade action in a game about fishing. Creating an emulator for it was pretty challenging so I hope you can appreciate this game for what it is
Yeah, DK's redesign is epic. I hope people can get over the huge difference because this looks really good

I played your demo and the game's platforming is amazing
One thing I have to say though: I wish I could bind rb to recenter camera, which I technically can but can't unbind rb from jump
I can't really handle full camera control during platforming, it's a bit overwhelming

Batman solves this by making you basically teleport ๐

E.g. Rayman jumps higher in original, which you can see with that impossible jump in the mountain area
I think people are forgetting that Aardman does do different art styles that aren't Wallace and Gromit

30.09.2024 20:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No, but it wasn't very complicated. As you can imagine, I had to use a script as well as a shader which changed the replacement palette, lerping that.
I also used a custom resource instead of an image which contained 4 colours, making it easier to transition by lerping the values of the vectors.
I did this for my game too! One thing I liked to do was to make the colors transition (lerp) to the new palette whenever its set.
It's less realistic to gameboy but I think it's a nice effect.
