Is it just me or have clickbait-style headlines ramped up tremendously on so-called respectable sites this year? Hate it, hate it, hate it.

I love many of Walter Tevis's books, but "The Color of Money" is so bad that the Scorsese film basically uses the title and Paul Newman's character from "The Hustler" and that's it--the plot is almost completely different.

I'd sure like someone to make a film of his "Mockingbird" some day.

I remember liking "...High Castle" a lot the first time I read it. But I found it a chore to re-read a few years ago. And yeah, I wouldn't rate "Androids" all that highly either.

Yeah, that one is up there.

My favorite is "A Scanner Darkly."
