The best you can say for it is that so many people were lying it was fair to accuse me of the same, but there was huge pushback to any suggestion that prices were going up fast until it became undeniable.

The Walmart screencap thing was based on a contention that milk had gone from $2.00 a gallon to $2.70 a gallon over a short period of time. I was accused of right-wing misinformation. This happened pretty much any time I talked about prices where people who didn't know me could here.
