I have lived in DC my entire life and I have to say the past 4+ years are the safest I have ever felt in this city. Starting with the Obama years the city really started to turn around and is a lovely place to live and work. This is ridiculous.

This is the part that is terrifying especially if you know federal fiscal years. The timing of this is a nightmare for those of us who are trying to get awards made by the end of the year, kinda what this even means. Believe his words - he does not believe in germ theory. It’s why he is killing vaccines. He doesn’t believe that illness is caused by external germs, but rather germs simply magnify internal vulnerabilities that can be remedied with supplements and exercise.

A poll indicates that nearly half of Americans spend upwards of 4 hrs/day worrying about money. I just spent the past 3 hours trying to sort out bills pushing my worry into Christmas and how in the world we will have anything left for gifts this year.

I don’t know where the world is with Michael Pollan but as a vegetarian with meat eating children the Omnivore’s Dilemma shaped how I think about food. Sustainability, safety, etc. he seems like who RFK Jr thinks he is & who I wish MAHA understood better.

I have no many questions, any actual scientists care to weigh in on this?

That is so dangerous but I’m sure even she saw this coming and was shocked every day to still be employed.
Every single time someone asks me how work is and my response is - welp I’m still employed but have no expectation they will keep me around once I too do something to displease the child.
