24 inches really was too big in portrait for me - the top of the monitor was too high. There are used 22 inch 1050p dell monitors that are cheap enough to try with low stakes 😊

It's just for text so honestly anything with decent viewing angles will be amaze - much as I learned to love it, my old 2008 era screen was not great. I have a vesa arm already - stand a bonus but not essential.

Prompted by using a 24 inch 1920 by 1200 that was fine but too tall or big for my workspace. Primary monitor is landscape 27 inch, 4k.

20 inch for 1600 by 1200. 22 inch for 1680 by 1050.
