Indie comics ain't easy. Working very hard to make something as well as you possibly can that you know only a few people outside of yourself care about can be quite lonely, and often feels almost like a folly.

Please let indie creators know you enjoy their work, it really helps.

My favourite kind of actor/writer/artist is the type that will not-so-subtly steer a random conversation towards themselves. But the moment anyone else, unprompted, tries to spotlight them, they turn all "Shut the fuck up! Who paid you? I suck!"

It's the golden rule of scriptwriting.
And it was literally intended to highlight the difference between visual media and prose.
