I'll often read a plot synopsis of a movie I really want to see just so that I can focus more on *how* the story is this rather than the plot details themselves.

Yeah, my wife and I are watching it in the living room - streaming to my Nvidia Shield via Plex. My soundbar also sucks, so there's a lot of points where something can get messed up.

The one I downloaded only had a 5.1 mix for the dub and I'm so mad about it.

Sadly, all I can really offer right now is words, but I hope you find what you need. We've only been in a party a couple of times but I remember each adventure fondly. That may not be the missing puzzle piece, but hopefully it helps to make the picture a little clearer.
