If you have the money the refrigerated pet food ads have enthralled DH. One called Smalls is just for cats. I think it’s silly, but never had a picky eater cat, ours got all the same high quality kibble.

Materials don’t matter as long as they’re structurally sound. Trauma counseling for any and all (including implements who need it. It’s all for the greater good.

Very good for Halloween!

if you get to the books at the perfect point in childhood, they are amazing. Nobody builds worlds better than Tolkien. I’ve seen the movies in bits, but KNOW the books. I even read the Silmarilion in high school. (I considered grad school in Linguistics, which prob explains a lot.)

Wow! I’m guessing there’s fewer people with Halloween decoration money this year, or else manufacturing has caught up to demand. We have one neighbor with 9 inflatables, but we live on a long rural dead-end, so nobody else decorates beyond a wreath or pumpkin and no trick-or-treaters.

Siamese cats didn’t trigger my mom’s allergies at all, and hers were bad my whole life. (She took it personally when we had 4 non-Siamese cats).

My kids are young adults and I feel so bad for them. In the mid 90s to early 2000s it was a much more optimistic time. I’m ok if I don’t get grandkids, everything is terrible, I get it. I feel terrible for young parents now, but really for everyone.❤️

For a very light-weight coat that won’t keep you warm! Maybe for an arctic parka for dog-sledders, but that is crazy!

We are blessed that an Aldi just opened here, so our groceries are cheaper and we get a sweet treat every week. When we had money, I gave more and passed out hygiene kits to the homeless on my commutes. There is a season for everything. Now I have reach so I try to boost. We can all do a little.❤️

Consider donating to other food banks in areas where you don’t live, but care about. I’m donating to the both the Greater Cleveland and Southeast Ohio Food Banks. I went to college in Athens and love the Hocking Hills. SE Ohio is the poorest part of the state is food insecurity always a problem

My fellow Maryland state (and other govt) employees, you can easily donate $10/check to food banks (mine is split between local and DC) as part of the annual charity campaign. We are living off retirement savings, but at least we have that. You won’t miss $10 pre-tax and it helps so much.

I can speak in public in front of hundreds confidently if I know what I’m talking about, and have multiple times. And no video was allowed at my wedding, that’s an entirely different skill set. No cameras!
