Leg day every day.
This fantastic Coreidae has been lifting some serious weight with its back legs.
I don't know the species name, if anyone has knowledge, I'll be very grateful.

Dermacentor variabilis "American Dog Tick" at left, Amblyomma americanum "Lone Star Tick" at right
Both are male, I believe - neat to see them both on the same bit of grass π€©

Treehoppers and ants exhibit a classic example of mutualism. As treehoppers feed on phloem sap, they excrete honeydew, which attracts ants. In return, the ants defend them from predators through aggressive behavior.
The treehopper species is Membracis mimica

An image of an opilion arachnid.
Opiliones!
Beautiful colors and patterns on this little creature. It was a very cooperative subject and gave me enough time to create a focus-stacked photo.

Stylized forms, shimmering textures, and vibrant greens, reds and purples.
This Alydidae is truly a graceful and astonishing creature. I believe it belongs to the genus Stenocoris, though I prefer not to confirm it without certainty.

Hi BlueSky!
Portrait of a grasshopper, approximately 9 cm in size.
This creature patiently posed, giving me the necessary time to stack several images. I was so excited that I forgot to take a full-body shot... a big mistake if the goal is to identify the species.
