pointed the camera at the sky and let it go for about 28 minutes and the damn thing ended up looking like daytime!

The arcs of stars themselves are numerous and cool, but i think it's particularly neat how the arcs get tighter and tighter until there's just one in the middle that's not moving.

This beauty showed up in the garden of @casabentbill.bsky.social yesterday. I'm not sure, but I think this is the family Castniidae, possibly Divana diva.

A photo of a green treehopper that looks like a rounded rhomboid leaf. The hopper has veins through its wings that mimic those of a leaf. The bugs legs are brown and could look like a leaf stem. The only non-leaf part are the eyes which are deep red.

Those are cool eyes! The ones here in the Southern US have red eyes, both are awesome!
