So I'm working on a new Apothecary Video, and as I'm going through I've come up with an additional 3-4 concepts for Apothecary Videos, that I either need to spin-off from the script or just accept that this video is going to be a good 2 hours long.

Episode 7 of GQUUUUUUX is what all great episodes strive to be, a massive sea change in the middle of the series that mixes up our character dynamics right as they could’ve become stale, and raised the stakes and ambition far beyond the initial scope. Frankly the clear favorite for Episode OT Year.

Great #Lazarus criticism. These stand alone eps "don't build into the larger narrative in a meaningful way, taking away from the core motivation and momentum of the plot" & underserves its characters. Good job pointing out the flaw in its narrative structure.

Heartbreaking realization that even though Vortex (Lazarus OP track) is 1 of 1 this season, Tank! is just simply too iconic to ever be dethroned in the Watanabe ouvre.

I fear that (through 6 episodes), Lazarus is what ppl who don't like Cowboy Bebop think Bebop is.

If there's something really small that won't make sense to tackle once the season is over (when I do the long video) I'll make one (a la the recent Apoth short I made) but outside of that I am 100% planning on making a Shoshimin video.

I have a lot of thoughts about Shoshimin Season 1 (and I've been waiting for Season 2 to finish before I say anything), but Season 2's first episode has raised my expectations for the coming episodes.

Gundam GQUUUUUUX Beginning is fucking perfect down to the sound effects holy cow.

Very telling that if someone says their favorite anime is Code Geass, no one asks if they mean Lelouch of the Rebellion or any of the spin-offs, and I do mean that damningly despite me liking them.

I really do love how the new Apothecary Diaries OP has this visual thread of "unfolding" and "reflection" that all lead into the mysteries we've gotten this season and truly tie the piece into a cohesive whole instead of a bunch of one-shots.

Originally I was going to do the intro to the Yatagarasu video in Blender (only to find out that my rig is so old that I can't render it) but I'm excited to keep learning about it and (with an upgrade to the computer) start incorporating stuff like it into my videos.
