Rewatching Andor S1 and it’s hard not to see the parallels between the Empire and what Trump is currently doing. Using a dozen atrocities to hide behind a big one. Slowly choking the people rather than all at once. Using the threat of oppression to oppress. Literally the exact same playbook.

I recently learned of the idea that leaders come in many styles. Leaders for transitions, leaders for crises, leaders to maintain the status quo, etc.

Schumer and Jeffries are status quo leaders. However, we are in a crisis and we need crisis leadership! They need to move over or step down.

Why stop at autocorrect? Just about all tech seems to be getting worse, some more noticeable than others.

Youtube needs to enforce a policy requiring videos that are fan made or AI to be labeled as such in the title. It’s nearly impossible to find movie trailers without seeing these garbage fan made videos appear.

I love browsing Netflix because I always come across a show that I’ve never heard of before that somehow has 7 seasons and they are building hype for another one

30 hours into PoE2 and my conclusion is that it is a much lesser game than PoE1. I really like some of the new things but most everything is a huge step back. And the difficulty is unbearable. Dark Souls has once again ruined another franchise

Blows my mind that Workday became as huge as it did by requiring job applicants to create a unique account for EVERY company that uses workday.

I’m not normally that guy that talks about how much better made things used to be, but it’s hard to ignore how much shittier apps and tech are getting because of the focus on useless AI features that nobody needs.

My controversial music take is that Coldplay is not only good but also consistent. Basically every album from Parachutes through Ghost Stories is a solid listen from start to finish.
