This is not caused primarily by "screen time".

My sense is more like racial separation (and a return to Africa specifically) to avoid Black annihilation, but like you I'm no expert.

This is actually very clever because like their human counterparts, AI MPs will be confidently wrong, a bit racist, unwilling to ever give an honest opinion of their own making and also probably destroy the planet.

In the face of this enduring racism (against us) we need to separate to protect ourselves. Nazis (etc) might claim existential threat but as we know apartheid is more like supremacy than defence against threat.
