Young relatives who I've spent years unsuccessfully trying to pry away from manga to US comics are messaging me recommending I read these awesome stories they're reading about Absolute Batman/WW/Superman....I dont know what exact secret sauce DC nailed with this line but its something special

Really great issue and run. Love seeing Bruce struggle with being a parent, works as a greqt contrast to being a confident Batman.

Aw I was worried this would be the case. Great run of figures, my Battle Armor Skeletor and Panthor will he a shelf mainstay for years to come.

Lol yeah same, I heard good things after the first issue but when I saw the length I noped right out.

I just stuck to the Jed Mackay books and treated it like a large arc of his X-Men run. I've enjoyed it a bit but have no interest in the other titles.

Man Zd Toys deliver magic with their Iron Man figures. The paint and detail are outstanding, especially considering the price.

He wrote a tie in to an alternate reality event that is unlikely to have any impact on ongoing books. You can hate it, criticize it, not read it etc but to harass the creators directly? To demand apologises/firings? Harassing real people over fictional stories is unhinged, maybe take a walk instead

The master Sean Chen pencils, my inks. I met Sean back in the Valiant days and from then on I was hooked on his work. I was fortunate to get to ink him once on this piece, I believe it was for Wizard Magazine. ..but its been awhile. 😂

It's funny, a friend's kid who loves manga but has never had an interest in American comics LOVES Absolute Batman, theyre friends are fans too. Obviously it's not a Manga book but Absolute Bats tapes into something that appeals to those fans.

Brilliant book, ending got me choked up.

Loved this era and this crossover though the finale was a letdown, didn't Shield just randomly turn up and everyone just stopped fighting?

It because of books like Savage Sword of Conan #11 that I don't fear AI taking over comics. I don't care how well trained not complex the prompts are they'll never match an artist pouring their heart and soul onto the page, that that's exactly what @liamsharp.bsky.social did here, outstanding work!
