Here is the unthinkable thing that they can never wrap their heads around: profits don't have to increase every year. You could have higher wages and slow the rate of profit increase. That is possible. But that means that they don't just get richer by default, so it isn't allowed.

Just started reading Invisible Women by @ccriadoperez.bsky.social & it is eye-opening. I thought I was fairly good at trying to be aware of the issues that women struggle with, but so many things just passed me by that centre men.

We have played life on easy mode since the start of civilisation.
