Great points - easy to fall for illusion of invulnerability when the need for change is desperate.
Also wonder whether we underestimate the potential impact on pupil self-efficacy. Being taught in the 'other class' can stay with people for life.
It notes how evaluations often focus on teacher attitudes to implementing practices but pay less attention to the emotional journeys required for learning, adaptation & growth.

The electorate aren't homogeneous. Politically courageous leaders decide who they agree with, not how you can optimally balance off public opinions.
