You have to understand that these are fundamentally bad people with hatred in their hearts.

THE COURT: OK. And you said a few moments ago that
sometimes when you had a larger submission, that might determine whether you went to the library. I want to make sure I understand that correctly.
MR. FELDMAN: Correct.
THE COURT: So perhaps if you had a one-paragraph
letter you were writing to the Court, you might not make your way to the law library. But for an actual brief, you would go
to the library and do a brief search and cite checking at the
library?
MR. FELDMAN: Correct.
THE COURT: All right.
MR. FELDMAN: I mean, if I felt that it was necessary
to do a cite check.
THE COURT: All right.

So I probably would not put on the record, under oath, in federal court, that I don’t always cite check my filings. That’s just me though!

Judges will typically take lawyers’ representations as true because there is an ethical obligation to be truthful, so a judge putting you under oath is an implied warning: You better tell the truth, or else.

This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

According to FOX 9, a Minneapolis federal judge demanded to know why DOJ is missing deadlines & AUSA Julie Le said, "The system sucks, this job sucks" & asked to be held in contempt so she could sleep.

PACER shows she got assigned to defend the govt in 88+ cases since Operation Metro Surge started.

I don't have a view of what was the right answer in the Oklahoma charter school case that went 4-4. Not my area. But Justice Barrett no doubt has views, and it must be frustrating for her not to participate. Credit to her for recusing; it's a commendable instinct.

How is this even a hard question? Yes, the constitution applies to everyone. Sorry if that answer didn't occur to you

Genuinely has anyone *ever* been owned so badly as a man who converts to a new religion as an adult and sorta makes it his whole thing only to see the literal head of that religion rebuke his entire deal and then they choose the NEXT head of the religion specifically because he doesn't like you

Zionism and Nazism can be said to have similarities and differences not unlike apples and oranges. One of the key differences is that Zionism originated in the late 19th century as a response to antisemitic fervor in Europe. Zionism was a nationalist movement seeking the re-establishment and

That’s not to say the two don’t share similarities, of course. Both grow on trees, have seeds, and can be juiced.

The two fruits are also different in how we consume them. Most people eat apples skin and all, leaving behind the core, which is inedible. Its seeds are also poisonous. Oranges, however, are typically peeled and do not have a core.

08.05.2025 16:28 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Alright, I’ll spell it out. The apple is red, although some varieties are known to be shades of red, green, and yellow. The flesh of the apple tends to be juicy but crisper and chewier than that of an orange. Oranges, by contrast, are famously an orange color and have unique physical characteristics

Also I’ll take that as a concession that no, Pol Pot was not a Nazi.

Well, perhaps an illustration will help. The apple is the one on the left, while the orange is the one on the right. Do you note any differences?

Exactly, you’re just speaking past me. Nazism is characterized by antisemitism, seeing Jews as subhuman. That’s the opposite of Zionism.

What? Where did I say that? My point has only been that the movements are different insofar as one is antisemitic while the other is a response to antisemitism. They’re different because of who the targets of their ire are.

That’s what I’ve concluded so far, too. Israel’s genocide is awful, but that doesn’t mean Zionists are Nazis or vice versa.
