Being a virtual team has its benefits... and challenges.

During our 2024 virtual holiday party, we equipped our favorite cosmetics and met outside the Cyborg Factory for a "photo". While we couldn't make a real group photo, I think this screenshot is the next best thing.

Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention! The only requirement is that you need at least 4 GB of RAM (which I assume you do).

However, Google Play has been giving some players this message despite their devices being high end. Would you mind telling me what device you have?

Rock golems are INCREDIBLY territorial. You are blasting through their caves, after all.

But don't feel bad! They're rocks. They're not sentient, so its ok to blast them to pebbles.

The only ones left having fun at the Intergalactic Carnival are the radioactive remains of the amusement park's famous clown animatronics.

Development Secret! 🤫

The firework skill was an accident! Originally, the skill was meant to only shoot behind you, but an error in the programming caused it to shoot in all directions.

We liked it so much we made it look like a firework and kept it!

Our UI designer thought nobody would see these old placeholder weapon names, but they're too funny not to share.

Should any of these temporary names make it to the final version of Cyborg Immortal?

Unity’s recent decision hurts game developers. As an indie studio developing our very first game in the Unity engine, it hurts us. It hurts our ability to ensure our studio’s financial security, and it erodes our trust in the engine we’ve spent years working with. Making a free-to-play game is risky enough as is, and these changes make it much worse. By charging per install, indie developers like us take on significantly more risks by creating a free-to-play game. Having a viral moment and getting hundreds of thousands of installs is no longer a cause for celebration, it becomes a financial burden. We’re too far along to make the switch to a new engine for Cyborg Immortal. Unless Unity fully walks back their disastrous decision, we have trouble seeing a future developing games on the Unity engine.
