I read the list aloud to my wife in the next room, and she now seems emboldened that her job as an illustrator of children’s books is no longer as preposterous as it sounds.

However, I also have my personal archive of a couple of copies of everything I’ve printed, which I go into if someone offers Money for an older print.

Thanks for the compliment. I don’t *usually* bring back old work; X number are printed once, and then I focus on making new work.

Since mid-January, I’ve been working almost exclusively on the largest single project of my 30 year career. “After the Age of Dinosaurs” opens August 39 at Chicago’s Field Museum, and includes almost 70 illustrations (by me) of the rise of mammals, birds, and reptiles starting 65 million years ago.

You are 100% correct. We caught Porco Rosso here in Chicago a few weeks ago, but couldn't get to Mononoke.

This is going to be very dangerous for residents. First there's Hewn, and now Freds? I'm going to triple in size.

There are a couple old iphones at home, waiting for a new assignment.

I'm old enough to easily recall when we hauled around boxes of cassettes, and I'm also still pissed that my fully loaded Ipod was stolen out of my car around 2007 or so. Now I'm wondering which of my LPs from the last decade or so might have download cards stuffed inside.

Oh look: I've got a For Carnation promo CD. "Ten Small Paces", "You'd Prefer an Astronaut" and "Stories From the City/Stories From the Sea" are apparently next, based on this box I found under my worktable.

I've been thinking about digging out the old Itunes hard drives and ditching streaming to going back to the "old days" of 2005, carrying around a separate Ipod with my music collection on it. With Spotify down today, my hand has been forced, and I'm currently re-importing "Drums and Guns" by Low.
