so I noticed, at Walmart, physical copies of Mario tennis are $69.00, but the digital copy card is $69.88. why would you ever get the digital version lol??

I even liked to like, roleplay the protagonist's body language, deciding when to make eye contact or to look away based on the mood, where to stand, etc.

it's a lot of fun putting yourself in the character's shoes like that I think

it's easy to go into a game like this with like, action game mindset and just be going full speed and blasting all the time and such, but the thing that really made me like the game was all the quiet moments like that

one thing I really appreciate with cyberpunk is how many quiet moments the game has, how often you find yourself just quietly spending time with someone and looking out over the scenery and just talking.. it feels so natural and really helps the world and the characters feel real and alive

if you're gonna try to get me to care about x y or z thing or think its bad or whatever you've got an uphill battle ahead of you because I don't give two shits about it lmao

I think often asexual people get thought of as being in the prude/puritan/etc. camp but really its the exact opposite, I do not care about sex in the slightest, so I do not care what things people are into or not. people can do whatever they want with sex stuff, it has nothing to do with me lol

I can't even fathom yelling at anyone in general, let alone someone I don't even know, and whose job it is to be helpful to me. my brain just does not work like that

overall I'm very happy to have an authentic-feeling method to play virtual boy games that's not just buying an actual virtual boy and games for it

like, that's what it does over emulation or even over playing on a modded 3DS, it's that authentic experience recreation yknow?

- that said, I do think that getting all these games in just one lil collection thing is a much better way to play them than buying an entire console and each game individually, cause most of them are just kind of small fun novelties

review of virtual boy on switch:
- the physical peripheral is top notch, absolutely exactly what I wanted, no notes
- visuals look great, it's 1:1 resolution so the pixels are all really nice, really crisp, I like it
- it continues to be stupid that nintendo drip-feeds software for these things lol

like at first it was stuff that was like. stuff I really really wanted and was sure I would like, now its just. I used to get games even if they didn't look like the greatest thing ever.. I can't do that anymore. cause I don't wanna spend that much on something that I might be lukewarm about

I have a few key cards but they were all for lower budget games, like $30-40, so I figured they went for that method to avoid increasing the games' prices. if $70+ is just gonna start being a standard, I'm just going to stop getting so many games basically lol

I'm probably not going to get Pokopia, because it's $70 and doesn't even properly have a physical copy. naive lil me thought that the price increase had to do with cartridge costs, but they're putting this thing on a key card. what is the extra price even for??
