Is it me or has the latest Android update blitzed battery life? My phone is struggling to get through a day now.

I was in a pub yesterday, burger was twenty quid, two pounds to add cheese. Thought I'd wandered into the Ritz by mistake.

Very sorry to hear that Neil, that's very sad.

I don't like chips really. I'm not even that fond of potatoes in general.

Oh god, quicksand. I was convinced as a child that every beach was a potential death trap just waiting for a foolish misstep to condemn me to a slow sinking death. As it turns out fifty years later, quicksand has not featured as heavily in my life as I was expecting.

Stuck on a train just outside Basingstoke. It's already been delayed by over an hour and we are just sat here. Air Con is not working properly either. Public transport is dismal.

It doesn't matter where you go, there will always be mediocre people. I've given up worrying about it.

Β£111 this morning for a train from Southampton to London. Utterly ridiculous.

On the train to London, someone has very leaky headphones. Sounds like someone strangling a cat. Is the death penalty too harsh?

Although Southampton Airport Parkway manages to be both right next to the airport and miles from Southampton.

Probably sensible. Anyone using those blocklists is best ignored.

Haven't seen one of those in the wild for years. The first one I ever saw was an actual hand written letter back in about 2001/2 that was sent to the small company I owned. Scamming took more effort in those days.

Unless they are chasing your small business for your annual fee of course, then they are ruthlessly efficient

I mostly get metal supplies and phone cases. I have no idea why.

My sister and I used to be really excited whenever we had enough full books to visit a green shield shop. Unfortunately no matter how much we begged we never got the shiny toys from the catalogue 😞

We still eat them occasionally, served with mash, peas and gravy. Lovely.
