Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate review It's a brand new Destiny 2. Can I have the old one back?

This wasn't a particularly fun review to write, but I'm really not gelling with Destiny 2's new systems. So much of the game right now feels worse than it did two weeks ago.

WWE ain't got nothing on the style and grace of the Japanese pros.

Celebrating 10 years of posting that one image of Geralt in a bathtub From screenshot to cake, Tub Geralt became a defining icon of The Witcher 3.

As part of @pcgamer.com's Witcher 3 10th anniversary celebrations, I was asked to write about the whole Tub Geralt thing, aka, the most notable thing I have done in my career. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/ce...

This really rings hollow when "lawless space cowboy shit" is already a rich vein of Destiny storytelling, but also one severely lacking in the current version of the game. This just reads as Bungie jettisoning the 'vibe' already built in favour of the version of it that lets them have lightsabers.

Based on what I've played so far, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 feels like a real modern Oblivion successor. Only instead of helping Sheogorath unleash a storm of burning dogs, you're tracking the village idiot to his sauerkraut den because he's stolen half the cabbages.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl review Say it with me now: get out of here, stalker.

stalker 2 is a very good, very buggy videogame. so it's stalker, basically. www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/st...

Anyway, my top tip is to mentally find-and-replace "The Game Awards" with "The Spike VGAs".

"Here's the big problem with The Game Awards": Oh no. Sounds serious. Let's put our best minds on this.

"Here's the big problem with The Spike VGAs": oh lol. who cares?

I will say this for The Game Awards: it's an audacious excercise in branding. The discourse every year suggests that people genuinely believe it's /the/ de facto official industry award show, but like, they just called it that. It's a trick. A spell that only works if you believe.

So each new space elevator phase, I'm just wandering off to find new deposits and making new factories and figure out ways to transport that stuff back to the space elevator.

Yeah, the fact that deposits never run out mean โ€“ at least where I'm at at the moment โ€“ I'm not seeing the need to redo factories. Even the early inefficient ones are just trucking along, because the early game materials are all pretty useful for building still.

Literally the most cursed Screw to Rotor ratios you've ever seen in your life.

Literally the most cursed Screw to Rotor ratios you've ever seen in your life.

Oh it's so much more cursed than it even looks. This is what's happening with the ratios. There's a double screw manifold because I haven't even unlocked a belt that can deal with this much nonsense.

At the point of Satisfactory where I know just enough to be dangerous. It's all nightmare spaghetti factories and "fuck it, that'll do".

Destiny 2: The Final Shape review Destiny's first saga ends with one of the best expansions in the series' history.

Baldur's Gate 3 is PC Gamer's highest scoring game in 16 years. Here's why It's been a long time since we've been this excited by a new PC release.

Wrote a bit about what PC Gamer's Baldur's Gate 3 review means in the context of a media outlet that hasn't given out a 97 score in 16 years and/or ever. https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-3-is-pc-gamers-highest-scoring-game-in-16-years-heres-why/
