What are your thoughts on the whole 888 portal business?

Astrology is about connection to Earth as much as Sky, so this is why I struggle to connect with the Lion's Gate narrative.

From a magical perspective, you can tap into collective hype as an energy source if you like—but it's not cosmic or spiritual energy.

The ancient Egyptians did watch the stars to time important events like the flooding of the Nile but the fixed stars have moved zodiacal position since then.

Also, you probably aren't in Egypt right now so your view of the sky is from a different geographic perspective too.

If you're into the Lion's Gate, I won't yuck your yum. However, as an astrologer, I feel it's my duty to remind people that it isn't astrology, nor is it an ancient mystical portal.

It's a modern mashup of not-quite-astrology, simplistic numerology, & more than a little marketing spin.
