2021 is when GenAI became more popular. And people have done tracing of GenAI and even switched to GenAI. GenAI was created before then.

Even that AH Freytag said the audience needs a breath between escalating events, even if his story driver was emotion, not conflict.

I don't hate conflict as a story driver, but I think without the twin of development to make us care about the characters and events, the plot can feel flat no matter how much you add in conflict and there is such a thing as too much conflict without connection. #WritingCommunity

'cause people have gotten scammed. And none of the artists match the style of the art you posted. If it was before 2018, then yes, you have a case. After 2018, no. You don't.

I want you to remember that GenAI servers are KILLING people with cancer. Particularly Black people. So is an image worth killing people over? Can you call yourself liberal with the view that an image is more important than peoples' lives? Also fastest way to sink your brand. #Art #WritingCommunity

Servers give poor people cancer by spitting up fumes into their neighborhood. Reconsider if an image is more important than people's lives.

Hindi, BTW, has no third person pronouns at all. Japanese only genders the first. Korean only genders titles, which are delayed after you know the person. Chinese doesn't have gendered thirds. Finnish combines He/she. French invented iel as a neutral third.

07.11.2025 16:42 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

English only gained gendered third person pronouns after one group defeated another group is another language and then the defeated group's language became the "feminine" pronouns.

07.11.2025 16:42 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

I did my worldbuilding, as an NB, where the only pronouns worldwide are gendered firsts. No gendered thirds. I think the people who invented gendered thirds has a sick sense of humor and had a humiliation kink, so I kicked it entirely out of my worldbuilding. 'cause I can.

So the language uses gendered third person pronouns?

You don't have to have gendered thirds in language. Gendered third person pronouns encompass only single digit of the percentage of languages.

In private to someone you know, OK, I get you, but to the entire world full of creeps like Epstein and Trump? I don't understand you. Protect your children first.

Adults demanding to see kids' faces on social media and not being creeped out by the fact this kids' life is on full display will never not make me angry. WTH. This goes double when it's an adoptee🥚 for clout. I'm sure some of those pedos will be out in full force this month.

Are you sure you want to do that when it's clear your understanding of the paratext and the text is pretty weak yourself? All of you couldn't even get that Hamlet was written after a plague and the death of Hamlet's son and are trying to roast a reviewer for hating it for being depressing.

But Meh, one can thoroughly understand a work and still hate it. And one can thoroughly love a book and have a bad understanding of it. (JoKing...) but there are people rolling out with how if you hate this book you're dumb videos about usually white male classics, and umm... are you sure?

07.11.2025 02:23 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

And yes, maybe the whole "g*psies" conception from a white woman isn't really doing it for me. And maybe the whole locking up a Black woman in an attic and then killing her off really makes me have hives about the whole Jane Eyre thing. (never mind the self-insert).

Solidly I've read Wuthering Heights and I get they are supposed to be unlikable characters. I get it's a Romance in the OLD sense. I still don't like the book and have a solid dislike of the Brontes. And I think I'm allowed that. Yes, I know the paratext which makes me like it less, not more.

Just because someone doesn't like a #classic doesn't mean their #readingcomprehension or media literacy is low. I've met people who have zero comprehension of texts and said they liked the book too. Do we have to pull out Rue every time? #novels

If I explained the plot, I don't think it would be that compelling, but the acting and writing sells it. I'm hoping that Ayumi grows into her own person though, since she's mostly copying other people at this point and it doesn't collapse into it being about Katsuo's growth only. (Mako mori fail)

The best part of the drama is that choosing for them to NOT be together and choosing for them to be together are both valid choices because there is zero pressure in Asian dramas to have the dopamine ending. More it's an exploration of the characters and who they are.

06.11.2025 19:09 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Basically the main male character is kinda an AH (Katsuo), I won't lie, but then there is a codependent female character Ayumi who is trying to define herself without him. (Man Detox is sorely needed). After they break up, they understand their relationship better.

I mean some Asian break up stories have more commentary on romance and relationships than US romance at times and it's not that NO US romance has any, but I kinda wish we had more than the limerence and more deep dives into the mechanics with US romance?

I'm watching #Jdrama, "Then Darling, You Make It." which is the more accurate title (Jaa, Anta ga Tsukutte Miro yo) It's because Anta mean you, informally, but also "darling". And the commentary on what makes a relationship works is a lot deeper than I expected.

At my uni (a while back) a baby got mumps and lost their hearing. Apparently a student returned from Asia and wasn't vaxxed and now the kid has a disability because it spread to them. The person lied about their vax status. Vaxxing is for the herd.

Sociology would cite things like 90% of adoptive parents are white while the majority of children that are moved for the industrial complex are Black... but he skips that. That should be covered under sociology. He also wants to skip permanent guardianship.

06.11.2025 16:30 — 👍 4    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

He skips the social injustices while citing Social sciences. He doesn't seem to have a social sciences degree or have taken sociology, but I've taken a psychology class, have a degree in anthropology concentrated in systems and a sociology class. His blatant skipping of that is a red flag.
