Trump Admin Begins Processing Some Trans Passport Updates, Though It Will Maintain Data On Requests
On Wednesday, at least some transgender people applying for passports in person at passport offices for urgent travel have received updated passports with correct gender markers.
1. Good news for trans people: I have independently confirmed that the Trump admin is now processing passport updates in compliance with a court order.
Multiple trans people have gotten their gender markers updated.
There are important caveats though, read on.

University of Houston confirms math assistant professor had visa revoked
A University of Houston assistant professor is among the foreign scholars whose visas were revoked in recent weeks, officials at the institution confirmed.
"I will no longer be able to continue teaching."
Hyeongseon Jeon, an assistant professor at the University of Houston, said he had his foreign visa unexpectedly terminated and now must return to Korea immediately.
