I am pleased to report that Scottish Borders Council unanimously supported my motion concerning
#TickBitePreventionWeek at today’s meeting of the council. Thanks to colleagues across the council for suppprting this important cause.

A fantastic Tweeddale Branch SNP Burns Supper at Eddleston Village Hall last week with special guest John Swinney MSP First Minister of Scotland

It was great to meet up with fellow SBC Tweeddale councillors at Caberston Farm Coffee Shop in Walkerburn for a coffee and catch up to discuss our work on behalf of local constituents and to look at ongoing projects that we are all working together on.

Fact checkers are now allegedly working on determining if the rumours about Washington being renamed as Trumpton are correct or not! Following on from plans to rename the Gulf of Mexico and threaten Greenland, who knows? The gulf between fact and fiction is becoming increasingly blurred.

Confirmation from the recent Peebles Common Good Fund sub committee meeting that the Haylodge Park sledging slope is safe. Local councillors on the committee outlined that the slope is not under threat.
