Make a bathyscope, (AKA aquascope).
- Tube with plexiglass at one end
- Box with an open top and glass bottom.
- Commercial ones exist - Nice, but overly expensive.

Bio-Filters have been used for years. 2 examples are aquarium gravel beds to digest nitrogen, and damp wood-chips in a silo to trap and digest biological odors from an abattoir. Both rely on the production of "mucus" (slime).

I must admit that at first reading your post, I thought it was about using "essential oils" on people to treat blood diseases (which I doubt would be effective, and smelled of RFK Jr.)

So many questions:
1) Which pathogens (of what?)
Searching for Ms. de Silva seems to support a guess of Nematodes in Pine?
2) Which oils?

Search for "#PBE2025" does not help.

Sadly, those in power seem to be able to ignore judge's rulings.

A lot more research needs to be done on how your microbiome affects both physical AND mental health.

They look too dark for sour. Sweet are better for eating fresh; Sour are better for preserves and baking,

Us Canadians can't do much, but I hope these protests encourage people to start thinking about change. I am less hopeful that it'll make any immediate impact on those in power. Be careful my friends south of the border; it seems they don't need much irritation to react violently.

Yeah, but unlike "He Who Would Their King", ours is benevolent. Most of us never think of him (I'm sure most Brits don't either), except to wonder why he's there. DT's threat to annex us, now THAT we think about (and shudder).

The domesticated bee (Apis mellifera), is the one most often thought of with the phrase "save the bees", but ironically, humans brought this species to many countries, much to the detriment of the thousands of kinds of native bees that were already there.

None-the less, your picture *is* beautiful.

I had the same experience with a baby (just fledged) robin in a hedge, just last week. We stared at each other, until I moved a bit, and it flapped away clumsily.
