Disagreeing with the statement "human ethnic groups, physical differences aside, are not different in terms of mental capacity or 'inherent' personality traits" (op) is identity politics. Jacobin has said nothing to the contrary, unlike the others in the cartoon.

Social Security Applauds Passage of Legislation Providing Historic Tax Relief for Seniors
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is celebrating the passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill, a landmark piece of legislation that delivers long-awaited tax relief to millions of older Americans.

The bill ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation's economy.

β€œThis is a historic step forward for America’s seniors,” said Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano. β€œFor nearly 90 years, Social Security has been a cornerstone of economic security for older Americans. By significantly reducing the tax burden on benefits, this legislation reaffirms President Trump’s promise to protect Social Security and helps ensure that seniors can better enjoy the retirement they’ve earned."

The new law includes a provision that eliminates federal income taxes on Social Security benefits for most beneficiaries, providing relief to individuals and couples. Additionally, it provides an enhanced deduction for taxpayers aged 65 and older, ensuring that retirees can keep more of what they have earned.

Social Security remains committed to providing timely, accurate information to the public and will continue working closely with federal partners to ensure beneficiaries understand how this legislation may affect them.

Just got this propaganda email from Social Security. I never signed up for anything like this, so I'm guessing everyone in the US receiving SSDI also got one.

Just so you know, low-income people were ALREADY not taxed on Social Security. It's only taxable if you have other significant income.

Met an active duty member of the military yesterday who filed conscientious objector paperwork in response to deployment of military on U.S. soil.

Was told multiple Army have filed, unknown quantities in other branches.

We Democratic Socialists of America Won't Apologize Migrants crossing the border are scapegoats for the real threat to the working class: billionaires who profit from a divided labor force.

Pundits and billionaires hope to blame their own election losses on the left.

But the only way to win the masses is with the kinds of life-changing policies that @DemSocialists.bsky.social
are fighting for and winning nationwide.

Upton Sinclair dreamed of a socialist California. He's smiling upon the L.A. City Council Ninety years after his failed run for California governor, Upton Sinclair is smiling down on us from socialist heaven.

"Sinclair’s political descendants are avenging him in L.A. City Hall as you read this."

Democrats will often look at something that doesn’t poll well and think β€œoh no, better move away from that!” but they’re getting their role backwards. parties influence public opinion. if you’re purely reactive, you’re just letting the GOP frame every debate.
