Love that TMZ has this and the NY Times doesn't!

Millionaire status? No. They should be taxed down to cleaning toilets status.

So how does Jared propose that California get taxes out of people who are obscenely rich?

Who decided Bari Weiss was a good idea?!?!! For the Daniel Pearl Memorial Lecture of all things.

I first thought this when NAFTA was signed. I figured if things could freely cross borders, people should too. Nowadays things don't freely cross our borders, but people still should. Immigration is good for the US!

Exactly! Rs in Congress refused to pass immigration reform so they could continue to run on the issue.

But Newsom or Vance is not the choice before Democrats right now. The choice before us is which potential 2028 contenders should we consider supporting.

No, it's because he happily destroyed the belongings of homeless people and will not support trans people. And because he thought having Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon on his podcast was a good idea.

Like California's Prop 187, but Texas-sized.

My first thought was, this makes the Giants favorites for second place in the division.

I voted third party in 2000; I knew Gore had California sewn up and wanted to protest the Democrats' centrism. The Green Party hasn't exactly covered itself in glory since then.

The last question seems to be broken - says to select all that apply, but only allows one item to be selected.

The same woman profiled at length in the @nytimes.com because she couldn't stop thinking about little Liam, used as bait for his father and sent to a detention center in Texas. Not that she was ever going to lift a finger to help anyone not just like her.

So does Google Maps. Tells you the speed limit and how fast you're going. Doesn't audibly alert you if you're over -- I think it just turns your speed number red.

The reporter in Ukraine is a different person.
The print news biz has been contracting for a couple decades, so no, I don't think reporters necessarily have better options, even good reporters. 25 years ago there were over 400,000 newspaper jobs. Now there are fewer than 85,000.

I don't know. Seems like a question lots of people who work for all sorts of corporations could be asked. But I'm hesitant to label the reporter who got laid off and stranded in Ukraine a bad person when I've never met her and don't know her situation.

It wasn't hard. Only the NY Times has won more Pulitzers.

Marissa J. Lang Marissa J. Lang is an enterprise reporter for The Washington Post. She previously covered housing and gentrification, protest movements and the rise of domestic extremism in the U.S.

All of them? Including this one, part of the group who won the Pulitzer for their Jan 6 reporting?

What I always wonder is why lugers go feet-first. I'd want to go head-first and die instantly rather than be accordioned from the bottom up.
