Depends on the Chromebook. The sub-$300 models are underpowered and don't have enough memory to do multiple screens. If you move up a tier or two you can get ones with a discrete graphics chip or just a lot more RAM. Either works but as you approach $600 you're getting close to "decent laptop" range

So Lenovo, Acer, MSI are all fine and you're not doing anything taxing. It almost sounds like you might be able to get away with a Chromebook which would be cheapest and most battery performant.

Lenovo is still pretty good but are you looking for a work machine, game rig, something else?
