Privileged to meet star of Heated Rivalry and the Prime Minister’s new best friend Hudson Williams at the CMPA reception last night. Hudson is a kind, gracious, talented Canadian actor who plays a huge role in the show’s success. Can’t wait for season 2! He’s always welcome at our cottage.

Yesterday’s news of the passing of Kirsty Duncan, the former Member for Etobicoke North, reverberated throughout the offices and corridors of the Canadian Parliament. Today, I rose in the House of Commons to honour her life and her legacy.

Canada and Malaysia share a long history of diplomatic relations. I was glad to meet with H.E. Shazeline Zainul Abidin to discuss ways to continue to expand our bilateral and trade relationships.

Police investigating after video shows North York synagogue being vandalized for 10th time this year Video has surfaced of a masked suspect vandalizing a synagogue in North York that police say has been targeted nine other times this year.

Kehillat Shaarei Torah was vandalized for the tenth time this year. This hateful and antisemitic act is intolerable. I stand in solidarity with the congregation and Jewish community during this time, and urge that those responsible be brought to justice.
