Been looking forward to Cross Bronx Expressway since it was first announced. Played the 1940 start and lost due to disenfranchisement. To me it's more abstract than other COIN/ICS games. Fun and interesting but it's difficult and it's going to take more playtime for me to connect cause & effect.

It's not the majority of music by Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, but the songs 1933, Make America Great Again, and possibly Love Ire & Song qualify from my perspective.

My wife and I know that MB has no gender but we find it interesting that while reading, we each think of it as more expressive of our own (M/F) gender. Yes we're unconsciously assigning gender to a being without one (something for us to think about) but I think that's because we both relate to MB.

Final positions. Confederates take back one 2vp river crossing. Union forces East of Kearneysville are smashed and spent.

My first game of GCACW. Stonewall Jackson's Way II, Across the Potomac. Played solo. Union got to Kearneysville first but then got pushed out and two really bad combat rolls left them ineffective. Marginal Confederate victory.
