I agree to the degree that if the point of the article was to coddle, that’s stupid. But don’t we still need to demand or enact a political movement that she’d vote for out of pure self interest because her $40k/yr self interest is actually p similar to ppl you love and care about?

It’s not about her? It’s about tactics in building broad coalitions at the national level and not writing off her and people like her forever. Maybe they’ll see on their own, maybe it helps to see the potential in 24 yo people making $40k/yr to grow and join a broad coalition against oligarchs?

Part of “us” fixing it is broadening the tent to include her. You can say fuck me and her and that’s fine. Original point was you have to have a broad coalition to win in national electoral politics and if Dems offered to top Trump when it came to subsidizing IVF that could’ve made the tent larger.

What is the point of posting if I don’t want to have a conversation? How will you or anyone grow a movement within national electoral politics to protect what you perceive her as assaulting without growing your numbers? Unless the outcome changes their mind, currently the Blue team is outnumbered.
