I’m in a labor union and strongly support our right to organize and collectively bargain for working conditions. I stand with Starbucks workers wholeheartedly. If unions weren’t so effective, we wouldn’t need to form them.

One of the many things that have intense licensing and random inspections are child care facilities.

One thing that still to this day has no license requirement or periodic inspections is firearm ownership. This country, I swear.

I can send virtual hugs til the cows come home but that just doesn’t do the same as a real one. I wish we lived closer together. I’d love to hang out with you! But unfortunately, about 1500 miles separates us. I hope one day we can hang out. I think you’re pretty cool!

Friendships are super hard. Especially as an adult. It seems like you always have to do a lot of work to keep them going, and then for what? No one wants to ever do anything. They are always busy. Then you’re left sad and alone. I know how it feels and it sucks.

Laser done. Sam’s Club done. Flu/covid shots done. Lunch eaten. Now waiting for my mom the get done with her lunch with her friend group and I’ll help her get groceries.

Was hoping for something more concrete (and not actual concrete). Because deciding what to eat for every meal for the rest of your life and then also deciding what others will eat, is probably the worst part of adulting ever. This was not what was advertised when I was a kid.

I ended up making a taco bake. Ground beef, corn, onions, bell peppers, pinto beans, tomatoes and chilies along with half a jar of liquid queso. Top with crumbled tortilla chips and shredded cheese and bake. Was actually pretty good. Everyone seemed to like it.

Even as a closeted trans person, there is no way in hell I would try to step foot through customs. Probably wouldn’t have a problem leaving, but coming back in would be horrible

Starting in 2017, I bought a bunch of smart switches from Wemo. They have worked ok, but not super reliable. Anyways, next year, they will all be worthless. Belkin is stopping app support and none of them will work anymore. I will never buy another Belkin product ever again.
